SECRET STAR COSMETICS BEAUTY SALON: LOFT WITH IRANIAN INFLUENCES, The Netherlands, 2019
In 2019, I was presented with the challenge of translating the unique personalities of my clients into a physical space. The daughter's vision leaned towards the modern allure of a loft, while the mother's preferences gravitated towards the opulence of golden textures and vibrant Persian colors. Intertwined with these preferences was the father's inclination towards the timeless appeal of wooden elements. My task was to seamlessly amalgamate these varied elements into a cohesive and visually stunning design.
Despite the constraints of time and budget, I embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, knowing that I had to deliver a space that not only met my clients' expectations but also surpassed them. The urgency stemmed from the necessity to relocate the salon within a month, requiring me to strike a delicate balance between the distinct tastes of my clients.
As a designer, the process was an exhilarating exercise in creativity and problem-solving. It showcased my ability to navigate diverse preferences, work under tight timelines, and deliver a design that not only reflects the personality of my clients but also pays homage to the cultural heritage they hold dear.
The final result is a harmonious blend of a chic loft adorned with golden textures, bright Persian colors, and the grounding warmth of wooden elements. Each detail was meticulously curated to capture the essence of Iranian beauty and sophistication while creating a space that exudes energy, elegance, and style.
